Do you sell directly to end users?
Detectapro is set up to be a master distributor and sell through distribution outlets only. Please contact us and we would be happy to assist you in finding a distributor.
How do I request pricing?
Detectapro is set up to sell through distributors only, therefore do not give pricing out to end users. End users must go through a distributors whom set their own pricing.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Detectapro does not not have any mimimums. We sell in box quatity or as per each.

Detectapro is a supplier of metal detectable products used by food processing and pharmaceutical companies in support of quality control efforts. Our products help to reduce foreign objects contamination.
What is a detectable product
A detectable product is both metal detectable and X-Ray detectable. Metal detectable products are used on the production floor in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries. Metal detectable and X-Ray detection machines are positioned on the product line and are calibrated to find very small amounts of foreign object contamination and reject them prior to becomming part of the final product. Our products are designed to be picked up be such machines should they fall into the mix.
Why are detectable products important
Reasons for implementing metal detectable products range from companies following HACCP, GMP, BRC8 or the implementation of a six sigma program. Our products are primarily designed for use in the food processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, but can be used in support of any effort to reduce foreign objects contamination. Using detectable products minimize the risk of massive product recalls, bad press and costly lawsuits.
How detectable are your products
Our products can generally be detected down to .25 mm. It is important to calibrate the detection devices used on the line regulary to verify that the calibration is set to the specific needs of the particular line it is on. The calibration of an ice cream line is going to be very differnt that the calibration of a dry cereal line.
Are all products both metal and x-ray detectable?
Yes, all of our products are manufactured with compounds allowing them to be picked up in both types of machines; Metal Detectable and X-Ray detection units.
